This is an incredible sight with a very reasonable admission price of 20 euros. There are ancient sights galore, including temples and amphitheatres, as well as stunning 360 degree views of Athens f… Full review by NICHOLAS T

What website is best to buy tickets? We're a group of 4 going on June 23rd and would like to go as late as possible in the day. I'm looking at 2 websites ... Hellenic Heritage (tickets not available for our date yet and looks like later entrance times compared to the other website) and Acropolis Tickets & Tours by Headout (available for purchase now - latest time is 5pm). Any suggestions of where to buy the tickets? Also can't find what time it closes on June 23rd and the last possible entrance time. Suggestions?

I’m sorry but I cannot help you as we just walked up and payed at the entrance, as we did with all of the museums, which are all a must see as well. We were the in February and there was probably only about 100 people on the monument, and the museums were not busy either. Have a great holiday and enjoy Athens as it’s a great place for a short break and don’t forget to use the Hop on/Hop off tour bus to get around the city’s attractions. Sorry I couldn’t be more of a help. Enjoy.

I plan on visiting on a Tuesday but dont want to get there for 7:30am if it doesnt open until 1pm. Thanks

I am pretty sure it opens at 08.00 every day apart from the few days a year that it is shut. It is only the closing time that varies and that is with the seasons (available daylight). Would recommend getting there as early as possible as it gets very crowded. We went in mid September and it was packed by 10.00.
